Valentines Day Comes Early

The post title should really mean something deeper and more heartfelt then a Colchicum that usually blooms spot on February 14th is a few weeks ahead. But that's life.

We did have a good bit of hard frost for a few days in early December but generally it's been a very mild winter, drier too. I have noticed a lot that seems ahead of schedule this year so I'll probably be posting more often. I did get the kiddo out to take some actual pictures with the camera and I promise to do better at posting those. Please excuse the phone cam shots for now.


After a few months of coddling, I finally got one of the kittens to leave the comforts of home, its open season on voles again! The dig likes to think its helping but mostly it just makes giant holes in the lawn and tracks dirt in the house.

Sunny, and 51 today.
